A contract between you and Syllable Digital LLC governing your use of our website and apps.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a contract between you and Syllable Digital LLC (“we,” “us”) governing your use of the syllableapps.com website and our mobile applications, currently TeamStreamer and GolfTracker (each an “App,” and together the “Apps”). By using the website or installing or using an App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website or the Apps.
Sections 1–17 apply to the website and to both Apps. Terms that are specific to a single App appear in its own section — Section A (TeamStreamer) and Section B (GolfTracker) — and control over the general sections where they differ.
Syllable Digital LLC is an independent app studio organized in California, United States. You can reach us at syllable.support@gmail.com. How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy and in each App’s own privacy policy.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Apps. If you are using an App on behalf of a club, school, league, team, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Each App runs on your device and is designed to keep your personal data local. In broad terms, TeamStreamer captures, scores, records, and uplinks live sports broadcasts to streaming platforms you connect; GolfTracker is a golf scorecard and statistics app with on-course distance features. What each App does, and the terms specific to it, are set out in Section A and Section B.
The Apps do not use Syllable Digital accounts. Where an App stores credentials for a service you connect (for example, TeamStreamer’s stream keys and platform OAuth tokens), those are kept in your device’s hardware-backed keychain. You are responsible for the security of your device, of any third-party accounts you connect, and of any credentials you enter. If a connected account is compromised, notify that platform — not us.

We may suspend or disable App functionality if we become aware of misuse.
All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed and billed by Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android). Syllable Digital LLC does not receive your payment card or billing-address information. The price you are charged is the price displayed on the in-app purchase sheet at the moment you confirm the purchase, including any applicable taxes.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time in your device’s App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Where supported, subscriptions may be paused at the operating-system level, subject to Apple’s or Google’s pause limits.
Refund policy is set by the platform that processed the purchase. Refund requests should be directed to Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (play.google.com/store/account). We will assist where we are able, but we cannot issue refunds directly.
Prices below are current as of the “Last updated” date and may change; the price shown at purchase always governs.

The Apps and all original content, features, and functionality (other than user-generated content and third-party content) are the property of Syllable Digital LLC and its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Apps on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to the store-provided license terms (Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement or Google Play’s Terms of Service, as applicable).
You retain all rights you have in the content you create, broadcast, or record. Because the Apps keep that content on your device (and, for TeamStreamer, transmit broadcasts only to the platform you choose), you do not grant Syllable Digital LLC any license to it.
The Apps integrate with third-party services, which may include Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook (TeamStreamer); the Apple App Store and Google Play; Google AdMob; PostHog and Google Firebase Crashlytics; and, for GolfTracker, our hosting provider Supabase, the course-name provider GolfCourseAPI, and the map-data services OpenStreetMap (Overpass API) and an elevation-data service. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Syllable Digital LLC is not responsible for the practices, policies, availability, or content of any third-party service.
Features marked as beta, preview, or pre-release are provided on an as-is basis and may be changed, restricted, or removed at any time. Backwards compatibility is not guaranteed for pre-release features.
The Apps and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy.
Syllable Digital LLC does not warrant that an App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, network, or third-party service; that scoring data, statistics, or recordings will be preserved; that a broadcast will complete or be received by its intended audience; that any third-party platform will accept or maintain your broadcast; or that any course information, distance, or eligibility status the App displays is accurate. You bear the risk of using the Apps for events or decisions where uninterrupted operation or accuracy is materially important.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Syllable Digital LLC, its officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) content you broadcast, record, or create using an App; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right (including privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights of any person appearing in your broadcast); or (d) your violation of any applicable law.
You may stop using the website and the Apps at any time and uninstall them. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 7, 10, 11, 12, 14, and 15, and any accrued obligations, survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms, the Apps, or the website will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
To the extent an App is downloaded from Apple’s App Store, the following additional terms apply and supplement the Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”):
Similar provisions apply where an App is downloaded from Google Play and are incorporated by reference from the Google Play Terms of Service.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be surfaced in the relevant App on next launch. Continued use of the website or an App after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

App-specific terms
This section applies in addition to Sections 1–17 when you use TeamStreamer, and controls over those sections where it differs.
TeamStreamer lets you score volleyball (and other supported sports) matches with an on-device scoring engine; broadcast the match to a third-party streaming platform you have connected (Twitch, YouTube Live, or Facebook Live); record the match locally to your device; tag highlights during the match; and, with an active subscription or the All Sports Bundle, use external camera sources such as GoPro and companion devices. The App provides only the capture, scoring, encoding, and uplink functions. The streaming platforms are not part of the App and are not operated by Syllable Digital LLC.
You are the operator of every broadcast initiated from your device. You alone are responsible for the legal right to capture and publicly distribute the audio and video you broadcast. This includes:
While a sport subscription is paused at the operating-system level, ad removal continues but external camera sources are disabled.
In certain builds, new installs receive a limited number of free “trial” matches with external camera sources, paid for with a rewarded video ad watched at the start of the trial match. The trial counter is per-device. Uninstalling and reinstalling, or clearing app data on Android, resets the counter; this is a known limitation and not a defect.
External camera support for GoPro and companion-device modes is provided as a beta feature under Section 9 and may change or be removed at any time.

GolfTracker lets you keep a digital scorecard, track statistics (fairways in regulation, greens in regulation, putts, scoring average, and a handicap estimate), record the clubs in your bag and their carry distances, review your season history, and — on supported holes — view course maps and on-course distances. Your rounds, statistics, and bag are stored on your device; you can keep score offline.
GolfTracker’s on-course distance and positioning features use your device’s GPS with your permission. Course-name searches are served by GolfCourseAPI; hole and terrain maps are retrieved from map-data services (including OpenStreetMap’s Overpass API and an elevation service), either directly or via our Supabase-hosted caching backend. How location is used and shared is detailed in the GolfTracker Privacy Policy.
Billing, auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled as described in Section 6.
